Here are a few pictures of the pumpkins that we grow here at the farm. We like to grow Heirloom varieties as well as a variety of Jack-O-Latern type pumpkins. Heirloom varieties are the hardest to grow, meaning they can be very temperamental to natural selection. Weather, insects and decease can take them all. That is why they are priced a little higher than the typical orange pumpkin. Heirlooms are perfect for decorating but they really shine when used in the kitchen they are all edible with very different taste. Description and how to use the pumpkins are listed by each pumpkin. I use many of them in my baking. Try and come early in the season if you want some of these we only grow specific amounts of all of them.
